In this episode, I’m joined by my mentor Dez Stephens to talk about why I decided to get certified and why you might want to too.
We’re talking about ethical coaching, the difference between certification and credentialing, and what changes to expect in the coaching industry in the next five years.
Dez Stephens is the Founder and CEO of Radiant Coaches Academy, a prominent international coach training school that certifies holistic life coaches, wellness coaches, and business coaches. She is a certified and credentialed coach, master trainer, and marketing strategist. Dez is a humanitarian coach, a social entrepreneur, a people’s advocate, and a planetary activist. She has coached professionally since 2005, and in 2012 founded Radiant Coaches Academy which has now trained and certified over 700 students in over 20 countries. In 2022, The International Coaching Federation (ICF) Ignite program recognized her for her nonprofit work in Honduras through her co-founded NGO, the Melanie Gissell Foundation, providing grief and pain recovery coaching to Central Americans.
