asking for what we deserve

This quick 2 minute video might be exactly what you need to watch right now.

Note: You can hear the person I was talking to, but I made sure to block her face out to keep her privacy which is why you will see a bit of black throughout the video.

A reminder that our ancestors before us sacrificed SO much so that we can have a life of choice.

Last week I was on a call with someone interested in working with me and she was struggling to ask for what she deserves. It’s a struggle I hear so often from others (including from my own mind).

Asking for what we deserve can come in various forms:

  • Asking for a raise
  • Changing our pricing for our services
  • Or asking a loved one for what we really want

After she shared her imposter syndrome, I shared mine. I shared with her how my grandma’s death changed my perspective about WHY I deserve to be selfish.

I’m sharing this video with you because it might be EXACTLY what you need to hear right now. I share how my grandma, who was my third parent, raised me. And I had NO IDEA until after she passed that she had a business that she had to give up on.

Below is a picture of my grandma, my two brothers and me during Halloween.

I miss her so much.

I am sending so much love to you and your ancestors!

Want to work with me so you can ask for what you deserve?
